The first modern social network site SixDegrees created in 1997. The next most recent is Twitter created in 2006 with a slim lead with 95,800,000. And finally the obvious leader Facebook with 550,000,000 million users created in 2004 by Mark Zuckerburg and Eduardo Saverin. The next wave of Social Networks began when Ryze.com was launched in 2001 to help people leverage their business networks.
